Reading by the Numbers – Andrew Joppa (9/11)

I offer the following as an assessment of Islamic thought pertaining to jihad and its implications that must be measured in considering the vast number of refugees flooding the West, mostly Muslims. Our Western filter, when it exists at all, is set at screening out the active terrorists among them. The assessment that follows, however, makes clear it doesn’t matter if they are active terrorists or not…the threat is mostly a derivative of numbers alone and the percentage of Muslims within a given population.

Muhammad Taqi Partovi Samzevari, in his “Future of the Islamic Movement” (1986), sums up the Islamic worldview:
A people that is not prepared to kill and to die in order to create a just society cannot expect any support from Allah. The Almighty has promised us that the day will come when the whole of mankind will live united under the banner of Islam, when the sign of the Crescent, the symbol of Muhammad, will be supreme everywhere. … But that day must be hastened through our Jihad, through our readiness to offer our lives and to shed the unclean blood of those who do not see the light brought from the Heavens by Muhammad in his mi’raj {“nocturnal voyages to the ‘court’ of Allah”}.

Islamic apologists often point out that Islam is not a monolith and that there are differences of opinion among the different Islamic schools of thought. That is true, but, while there are differences, there are also common elements. One of the common elements to all Islamic schools of thought is jihad, understood as the obligation to conquer and subdue the world in the name of Allah and rule it under Sharia law.

To describe the Arab/Islamic mindset, Leon Uris offered the following descriptive passage in his book, The Haj:

“Before I was nine I had learned the basic canon of Arab life. It was me against my brother; me and my brother against our father; my family against my cousins and the clan; the clan against the tribe; and the tribe against the world and all of us against the infidel.”

As it pertains to Muslim immigrants; in many respects, third generation Muslims in Western nations are more extreme in their attitudes than the Muslims living in Muslim-majority countries in the Middle East. No assimilation is taking place. The more Muslims there are concentrated in a specific area, the more aggressively they behave. In parts of the world where there are very few Muslims, up until they are about 1-2% of the population, Muslims often act in a perfectly normal way. From that point on, there is an ever upwards trajectory of violence and confrontation until the Muslims have “removed” everyone else.

Islam is not primarily a religion nor is it a cult. It is a complete system. Islam has religious, legal, political, economic and military components. The religious component is a cover for all the other components. Islamization occurs when there are sufficient Muslims in a country to agitate for their so-called ‘religious rights.’ When politically correct and culturally diverse societies agree to ‘the reasonable’ Muslim demands for their ‘religious rights,’ they also get the other components as a derivative. Here’s how it works (percentages source CIA: The World Fact Book (2007)):

As long as the Muslim population remains around 1% of any given country they will be regarded as a peace-loving minority and not as a threat to anyone. For example, The United States, Muslims 1.0%.

At 2% and 3% they begin to proselytize from other ethnic minorities and disaffected groups with major recruiting from the jails and among street gangs. For example; Denmark, Muslim 2%.

From 5% on they exercise an inordinate influence in proportion to their percentage of the population. They will push for the introduction of halal (clean by Islamic standards) food, thereby securing food preparation jobs for Muslims. They will increase pressure on supermarket chains to feature it on their shelves – along with threats for failure to comply. For example; France, Muslims 8%.

At this point, they will work to get the ruling government to allow them to rule themselves under Sharia, the Islamic Law. The ultimate goal of Islam is not to convert the world but to establish Sharia law over the entire world. When Muslims reach 10% of the population, they will increase lawlessness as a means of complaint about their conditions (Paris…car-burnings). Any non-Muslim action that offends Islam will result in uprisings and threats (Amsterdam – Mohammed cartoons). For example; India, Muslims 13.4%.

After reaching 20% expect hair-trigger rioting, jihad militia formations, sporadic killings and church and synagogue burnings. For example; Ethiopia, Muslims 32.8%.

At 40% you will find widespread massacres, chronic terror attacks and ongoing militia warfare. For example, Bosnia, Muslims 40%.

From 60% you may expect unfettered persecution of non-believers and other religions, sporadic ethnic cleansing (genocide), use of Sharia Law as a weapon and Jizya, the tax placed on infidels. For example, Albania, Muslim 70%.

After 80% expect State run ethnic cleansing and genocide. For example; Bangladesh, Muslims 83%.

100% will usher in the peace of ‘Dar-es-Salaam’ – the Islamic House of Peace – there’s supposed to be peace because everybody is a Muslim. For example; Saudi Arabia, Muslims 100%.

There is no reason to believe that Islamic percentages in your population are not your nation’s destiny. It has always been so in every situation in which that percentage has been monitored.
